In one of the multiplication expressions, a multiplicand is missing. Students are to solve for the missing number that makes the equation true. These equations require multistep processes of multiplication and division to solve.

Some of these questions require the clever use of multiplication facts in rearranging the factors of the numbers involved in generating an equivalent multiplication expression to the given one whose product is easier to obtain.
